• “Travel to Europe” mobile app 
  • The Travel to Europe mobile application is designed for non-EU travelers who are subject to EES registration. It allows people to pre-register their passport data and facial image before reaching a border crossing point where the mobile app is in use. Through the app travelers can also fill in the entry conditions questionnaire in advance.

On Arrival in Portugal – Immigration and Customs

Portugal is a member of the Schengen Area. Entry requirements vary depending on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and the length of your stay.

Travelers from many countries may enter Portugal for short stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period without a visa. Other travelers may be required to obtain a Schengen visa before traveling.

All travelers should ensure that their passport meets Portugal’s entry requirements and confirm whether a visa or other travel authorization is required well in advance of departure.
